This is as healthy as a chocolate mousse can get. Not only is it great for your gut due to its soluble fiber content, but its richness in omega-3 fatty acids from the chia seeds as well as the avocado. Avocados are a source of potassium, moreso than bananas! Cacao powder is packed with flavonoids. These nutrients have been shown to help lower blood pressure, improve blood flow to the brain and heart, and aid in preventing blood clots. The flavonoids in cacao powder may help increase insulin sensitivity, reducing your risk of diabetes.
